​VMM Hosts the
​NORTHWOOD  GARDEN  CLUB

The Veterans Memorial Museum was honored to host the NORTHWOOD GARDEN CLUB of Laurel monthly meeting on February 12th. Larry Callahan, VMM President & CEO, gave club members a guided tour of the museum. Following the tour, Jimmy Bass, VMM President Emeritus, spoke to club members about the history of the museum and the ongoing mission of sharing our veteran's stories with the community.

​Immediately following their meeting, members gathered outside the museum to plant a new ginkgo tree to honor all our veterans. The VMM Board of Directors greatly appreciates this wonderful gesture. We look forward to following the growth of this beautiful tree in the years to come.
