November 1918.

At the 11th hour… on the 11th day… of the 11th month…
The guns fell silent.
And the world took a breath — as the Great War came to an end.

That moment would echo through generations…
A solemn anniversary, reborn as Veterans Day --
A time to honor those who served in that war, and every war since.
A time to remember the courage, the sacrifice…
And the enduring cost of freedom.

ABOVE AND BEYOND

Over one hundred years ago, brave men took to the skies in fragile canvas-and-wood biplanes,
...engaging in dogfights that changed the face of warfare forever.
It was the birth of combat aviation--
a time of daring, grit, and
fearless innovation.
