*To correctly request a Harvests Hosts stay with the VMM, you MUST go to the
Harvest Host website and utilize the STAY REQUEST link located
on the VMM profile page.

Please DO NOT call the
museum to request a stay

Hello Harvest Hosts Member,

You have been officially approved to stay at the VMM on the date you requested. Below this section, you will find information/instructions for you to review, as well as photos of our parking lot. When you stay with us, you are more than welcome to utilize the entire parking area. The north end of the lot is where most guests choose to park (photo 1), but this is just a suggestion, not a requirement.

There are 2 MANDATORY requirements concerning your stay with us:

(1) Acknowledge via email or text that you received these instructions.
(2) Please text this number (228-365-0780} when you arrive on our campus…We DO NOT have a “check in” time, so this is important so that we know you have arrived.  *Even if you arrive at the VMM before closing time and sign in at the museum, PLEASE TEXT THIS NUMBER and let me know you have arrived. I am NOT onsite and you must "check in" with me.
  • The museum is closed Sunday-Tuesday, but we do try to accommodate our Harvest Hosts guests by offering (if possible) a private tour during your stay. If you are staying with us during a time we are not open, and desire a tour, let me know and I will try to arrange a tour for you.
  • If you are staying with us during the week, we are open Wednesday-Friday 10 AM to 3 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. If you desire a tour outside of these hours, we may be able to arrange for a special tour before or after hours. Feel free to ask…we will try to accommodate you.

Please check out the two website links below...This may help you plan your trip to Laurel. This will provide you with information about events, dining, shopping, etc., but feel free to contact me if you have questions…That is what I am here for!

  • The City of Laurel, MS (laurelms.com)
  • Laurel and Jones County Mississippi - Welcome to the New State of Jones

Also, please remember...We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is staffed entirely by volunteers. We would greatly appreciate it if you would make a small donation in return for your stay. This how we keep the lights on and doors open.
                                                    (SEE DONATION BUTTON BELOW)

PLEASE use my cell number for ANY Harvest Host communication. You can feel free to call/text me anytime if you have issues, questions, etc. You are not disturbing me! I look forward to hearing back from you. Hope you have a safe trip and enjoy your stay in Laurel and at the VMM.
